Physical Therapy for Everybody.
About Me
Proudly born and raised in Portland, Oregon, I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. There, I had my first exposure to rehabilitation, working as an aide to the school’s athletic trainers and learning to treat collegiate athletes across our sports programs. After undergrad, I pursued my doctorate in physical therapy which took my now husband and I to Salt Lake City, Utah. We skied, hiked, toured national parks, and I graduated with my DPT from Rocky Mountain University in 2021. I graduated as class salutatorian and received the Faculty Recognition Award for Excellence.
I am passionate about treating patients at every stage of life and physical ability. My treatment experience as a physical therapist includes musculoskeletal sports injuries, injury prevention, orthopedic injuries, balance and fall prevention, joint replacement and post-surgical rehabilitation. I also have experience with inpatient and ICU care, allowing further insight into injury and illness recovery at every stage. I combine skilled, scientific practices and compassionate patient-centered treatment to help each individual achieve their goals and live a stronger life with less pain. I believe physical therapy is about caring for your body long term, whatever the next challenge may be. Physical Therapy is for everybody.
I returned to Portland in 2021 and am grateful to be practicing the career I love in my hometown. Outside of work, I enjoy pottery, camping, hiking, and, as a lifelong soccer player, cheering on the Timbers and Thorns. I have coached youth soccer at recreational and competitive levels, most recently for FC Portland Academy.
